Nursing Major Courses $5,850

Many general courses you need to earn your BSN were completed during your associate degree and will transfer to Ohio University to apply to the hours required to earn a bachelor's degree. However, if you still need additional support and general education course credit to meet requirements, you can earn them in two ways:

  • Complete at another college and transfer to Ohio University
  • Complete at Ohio University:
    • Through traditional face-to-face courses at the six Ohio University campuses
    • Online

Financial Aid

Financial aid for qualified students is available. The first step in determining financial aid eligibility is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and include Ohio University's Federal School Code - 003100.

The 2009-2010 FAFSA must be completed for students seeking financial aid for the Spring Quarter, which includes the March and May five-week sessions.

The 2010-2011 FAFSA must be completed for Summer Quarter 2010 through Spring Quarter 2011. Contact Lisa Butler if you need assistance.

  • Financial Aid recipients must be registered for at least six credit hours. In order to achieve a minimum of six credit hours, students will need to enroll in at least two courses. The courses can be taken concurrently (in the same session), or one course can be taken in Session I, and one course can be taken in Session II.
  • Students who plan to receive financial aid will need to register for the Session II course at the same time the course for Session I is registered. A student who has completed the FAFSA and student loan processes will not have student loans applied to the account at the Bursar's Office if less than six credit hours are registered.

Ohio University reserves the right to make any fee adjustments that may become necessary, without prior notice.

The Ohio University faculty and staff tuition benefit does not apply for this program.
